Short and concrete: what data I process, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated on 19 October 2026.
Who I am
MuteMinute is a trade name of Jens Kemna (Ganso), Chamber of Commerce no. 27356204, Kranenburgweg 93S, 2581 XS The Hague, the Netherlands. I am responsible for processing your data. For questions or requests, email jens@muteminute.com.
What data I process
- Contact details you give me yourself by email, WhatsApp, through the proposal form or through an intro appointment: name, email address, phone number, organisation, city, preferred date, number of participants and your message. Requests sent through the form reach me by email, and a copy is kept in a protected place on the web server so that no request gets lost.
- Invoice details when you buy a session or subscription.
- What you tell me in advance about your health, for example a pregnancy or a heart condition. I only use this to adapt the session safely to you, and only with your consent.
- Anonymous visitor statistics for this website, see below.
What I use it for
To stay in touch with you, to plan and deliver a session or subscription, and to invoice. My legal bases are performing an agreement, my legal obligation to keep accounts, your consent (for health information) and my legitimate interest in seeing whether the website works.
Employees using the exercises
If you take part in the weekly programme through your employer, you do not create an account and do not fill in anything. Who listens is not tracked.
How long I keep it
I keep invoice data for seven years, because tax law requires it. Other data I keep no longer than needed for the agreement you gave it for.
Who I share it with
I do not sell data and only share it with parties I need to do my work, such as my web host, email, calendar and bookkeeping. Where needed I have agreements with them about how your data is handled.
Cookies and visitor statistics
I use Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly setup: without cookies, with anonymised IP addresses and without using data for advertising. This shows me how many people view a page and play a recording, without showing me who you are. An embedded video (Vimeo) may place cookies itself once you play it.
I also advertise through Google. Only if you consent in the cookie notice does Google place an advertising cookie that lets me see whether an ad led to a proposal request. If you do not consent, no advertising cookie is placed and the site only sends Google a signal without cookies or personal identifiers (Google Consent Mode). Your choice is stored in your browser; you can change it at any time through the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
I also advertise in ChatGPT, through OpenAI. Only if you consent in the cookie notice does the site load OpenAI’s measurement script. It reports which page you view, whether you click a button to book an intro call or send an email, and whether you send a proposal request, so I can see whether an ad works. I do not send OpenAI your name, email address or any other details from the form myself. OpenAI’s measurement script can, however, recognise contact details you enter on the site, such as your email address, and turn them into an encrypted code in your browser (a so-called hash). Only that code is sent to OpenAI, not the email address itself, so that OpenAI can link an ad click to a request or a booked intro call. If you send a proposal request after consenting, the website also reports it to OpenAI directly, with your IP address and browser type, so the measurement does not depend on an ad blocker. If you do not consent, this script is not loaded.
If you arrive through an ad after consenting and send a proposal request or book an intro call, I keep the click code of that ad (a string of characters from Google or OpenAI, without your name or email address) with your request. If the request leads to an assignment, I can let Google know that the ad produced something. I keep that click code for no longer than ninety days.
With your consent the site may also use Microsoft Clarity. It shows me how visitors use the pages, for example how far they scroll and where they click. Anything you type into a form is masked. If you do not consent, Clarity is not loaded.
Your rights
You can ask me what data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict the processing or object to it. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email me and you will hear back within four weeks. If we cannot work it out, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
